New Mexico Cancer Council

Council Membership

Membership in the New Mexico Cancer Council is open to anyone who is interested in reducing the negative toll cancer takes on the populations of New Mexico including public health, education, research, treatment, academic and business sectors. Click here for a membership form.

Benefits of Cancer Council membership include:

  • Increased awareness of scope of problem of cancer in New Mexico and what national, state and local organizations are doing to address the problem.
  • Access to an organized networking forum of New Mexico cancer organizations.
  • Ability to serve on work groups to help implement New Mexico’s Cancer Plan.
  • Increased knowledge of resources available to assist in local community cancer planning.
  • Provide your guidance/expertise in a broader audience.
  • Guide cancer control efforts in our state.
  • Participate in the comprehensive evaluation of state’s cancer control efforts.
